The Matterhorn - Stellisee - collage, 2025
I’ve visited Stellisee several times. The first time was in the summer of 2020, just after the pandemic, and it stayed with me. From this quiet, almost mirror-still lake, the Matterhorn feels at its most striking, clean, and complete. The photographs in this collage come from three trips I took in the years that followed. I gathered different moments of the day and changing weather, then shaped them into a layered, three-dimensional piece that echoes the mountain’s silhouette. For me, it holds a snapshot of memory. For someone else, it might feel like a fragment of their own experience, or an idea that one place can be seen through many windows in time.
Frame included. Though, frame can be added for orders within Switzerland. Contact me, so we can discuss it. Edition 13x13 cm exhibited at PhotoSCHWEIZ 2026.
